We Need Your Story if You Are Disabled and Financially Ineligible for Medicaid/HUSKY C 

Are you: 

  • Disabled

  • Under 65

  • On Medicare, and

  • In need of Medicaid/HUSKY coverage for services not covered by Medicare (e.g. long-term care, dental services, medical transportation, hearing aids) but over the income OR asset limits for HUSKY C?

HUSKY C is a Medicaid program in Connecticut. It is only for low-income people who are disabled, blind or over 65. We are looking for disabled people who can’t get on HUSKY C because they have income or assets that are over the limits. 

HUSKY D is a different Medicaid program, for non-disabled, non-elderly people; providing the same services as HUSKY C, but with higher income limits and no asset limits: 

  • The income limit for HUSKY C is just $1413/month.
    

  • By contrast, HUSKY D has a much higher income limit, currently $1836/month.
    

  • The asset limit for HUSKY C is $1600/$2400 (single/couple).
    

  • By contrast, HUSKY D has no asset limit.

PLEASE REACH OUT if you are disabled, under 65, on Medicare and also in need of Medicaid coverage, and you cannot qualify for HUSKY C because you have income between $1413/month and $1836/month, or assets above $1600/$2400!
