Pushing Back: Defeating Disability discrimination in Employment, Housing, and Public Accommodations

On Thursday, May 2, 2019, the CHRO and Disability Rights CT will host a Disability Rights forum and panel discussion titled “Pushing Back: Defeating Disability Discrimination in Employment, Housing, and Public Accommodations.” The event will feature a diverse panel comprised of representatives from the CHRO, Disability Rights CT, and the CT Fair Housing Center, as well as an activist from Connecticut’s disability community. We will explore emerging topics and trends in the area of disability discrimination law, as well as the rights and services available to all persons with disabilities as they seek to enter the workforce, acquire housing, and attain equal enjoyment of everything their communities have to offer. Light refreshments will be served.

NOTE FOR ATTORNEYS: This event will provide 2.0 MCLE credits.
